CAP & TRADE IS HERE - NOW!
- The CAP AND TRADE BILL that we've all been hearing about . . . well, it's already here. No, the senate hasn't voted on it nor has the President signed it. However, effective January 1, 2010, the USEPA will enforce NEW REGULATIONS governing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. These regulations are as stringent (or more) than the legislation still being considered in Congress. This applies to all businesses and municpalities of any size.
USEPA requires that a 'plan' be developed outlining how sources of GHG emissions will be monitored. Then the plan must be implemented. Fines and punishment will be given to those entities who are non-compliant.
Our associates have the vast abilities and training learned from the Coal and carbon emitting industries to help you comply with the law. Additionally, we can implement the plans that we develop for you so you may avoid prosecution for non-compliance. We may also discover sources of 'Credits' that may be available to you to help offset taxes you must ultimately pay upon your emission sources.
